I worked today on some promo pics for my book

    #1

    #2

    #3

    #4

    #5

So which is your fave pic? Or should I keep trying?

    The copy reads:

    Uniquely Created
    Divinely Inspired  . . . You
for Those Who Like to Read and Those Who
Don’t.  Its 26 packed passages share fundamental truths found scattered across thousands of pages of thousands of books.
Feel free to edit away on the copy.

    Namaste`

  • maybe you can spread the books out on the front of the table and have yours sitting behind them… like the front books in a semi circle?

  • OK, going weird here!  (how unusual!)  Can’t quite make out the cover photo.  I’m thinking if you can get a pic of ocean waves and insert the cover in it somehow – no beach, just wave.  Just my first thought!

  • congrats!

  • I would keep trying… maybe get the books to stand on end behind yours? Or like NightlyDreams said, with them out in front.
    Atlas hugs you back.

  • Wonderful photos. Judi

  • I’m thinking #5 because of the insence and light from the window.  #2 because it is the best pic of your book!

  • I say, “keep trying.” The others have some good ideas..

  • wow, your book looks great. what is the purpose of and the audience for the copy? booksellers? the general public?

hm, i think #3 conveys the right things: your book is the primary focus, but with the stack of books somewhat identifiable. i’d try to get a closer and clearer shot of your book title and your name. don’t block your name! i also like the lighting on the last couple of shots.

for the copy, i suggest trying to be more specific: …26 passages pull together the truths and wisdom from ancient texts to recent best-selling authors myss, hay and dyer to…[purpose of book]

  • thanks for the kind comment. good luck with the photos and the copy! would love to see/read the final promo photo and copy.
