  • Happy New Year to all . . .

I am beginning the new year with a series of 15 minute guided meditations.  Listen live or listen at your pleasure.

Because we all share this planet earth, we have to learn to live in
harmony and peace with each other and with nature. That is not just a
dream, but a necessity. We are dependent on each other in so many ways
that we can no longer live in isolated communities and ignore what is
    happening outside those communities.

    -His Holiness the Dalai Lama

  • Have faith, my Child, have faith.

    Do not be bewildered.

For you are beyond all things,
    The heart of all knowing.

    You are the Self.
    You are God.

    -Ashtavakra Gita 15:8

  • What I like about internet radio is that even though calling in can only occur during the live broadcast the programs are always there, waiting for you to listen to all of a program or part of a program anytime you want–it is never too late–there is never a missed program.  So stop by and listen–there are many archived programs waiting just for you.  Just click the radio icon in the sidebar.

Want to talk, to share your ideas on the topic–listen live and call in.  Although there are programs on other days, there is always a program on Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m.  I hope to hear your voice and listen to your insights.

This Sunday’s topic is :  God–Allah–Yahweh–Great Spirit–Divine One is Talking

Conversations with God–we all have them but are
You listening? God is there right beside You, holding your hand–Believe and
    Hear.

Ingratitude to man is ingratitude to God.

  • Praise God from whom all Blessings flow

Thanks to those who sent me Holiday cards.  I love them, especially the ones with pictures.

Despite the fact that I am currently walking on a walker and for the most part confined to  the house, today I feel blessed.  Throughout all of this “hip” stuff I have remembered to breathe and to thank the One, the All that is, for everything just the way it is.

I have been provided continual opportunities to rise to my highest self.  There have been times when I did not make it, but at least I realized I had not made it.  Then I made the conscious choice to not justify my conduct nor comments by blaming others, but to move forward in love for me—forgiving myself for not being perfect—showing love for others.

What a wonderful present God has given us, the chance to be more than we were then,  NowI’m opening it all the time as I move forward on my journey in this life.

May You feel Love [God known by many names] holding You close everyday and may Peace enfold You and Yours this Holi-day Season.

Tomorrows Radio Program is “Hallelujah—You Are New”

    Sometimes
we are tempted to cave in to those times when we fail, create negative
scripts and stop reaching for the Light. Don’t—remember even if those
negative scripts were true they are only true now if you allow them to
be. Believe in the wonder of You, sharpen Your pencil and keep
reaching. You are valuable to God–the All that is–JUST as you are.

Call in and share Your thoughts and experiences  (646) 595-3584.

  •  Yay:

I am back home and on the mend.  I did a new radio program today for those who listen.

  • Here I am in Colorado in rehab recovering from broken hip surgery.  I have learned a lot this last week about Love.

I am thankful that I have been spared the kind of pain that traps you in your bed focused on pain.

I am thankful I could say “no” to pain medications on Tuesday.

I am thankful that I am “young” and flexible so that I move about and have even though my surgery was just a week ago yesterday.

I am thankful for good friends who traveled from Santa Fe and Austin to spend my birthday with me here in this facility.

I have relearned lessons from this experience that I will share as I heal.

Today I thank G-d by whatever name You call him/her for never leaving my side.

  • Rabi’a asked someone to buy a blanket for her, giving the person four
coins. The person asked: ‘Do you want a black blanket, or a white one?’
Rabi’a took back the coins, threw them in the Tigris river, and
exclaimed: ‘Must we divide even blankets into distinct groups?’

    -Attar, “Rabi’a”

I have posted this before but must again.  We judge everything as better, best, favorite; instead of embracing the beauty of what happens to be, what is Now.

May You have a lovely Thanksgiving.

  •   Release: STAY

“Releasing” and “staying” facially are very different concepts.  One implies letting go and the other implies hanging on.  So how can part of learning to release involve staying?

The ultimate release is to believe that everything is just as it should be-to trust the Divine One who knows ALL- and guide Your actions in love.  The gentle spirit of love stays with You always imbuing the atoms of Your being with a luminescent shine.

However, there seems to be some confusion about the genesis of staying love.  Staying love starts in loving You-not in Your love for another.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails….

    Corinthians 13:4-8

How often do You give this vow to Yourself? These words are more often shared at weddings by two people searching for self-love by being loved and valued by another.

I dare to suggest the process should be reversed.   We should make this vow to ourselves about ourselves. Before we commit to love another we must learn to love ourselves. In so doing we learn how to love others, which enables us to recognize true love and to honor our natures.

By staying true to You- by loving You- You love others both romantically and in life without need.  Life becomes Your gentle loving of others as you would like to be loved. “How do i love thee?” can be answered simply, “As i love me.”

You do not crumble if Your love goes unrecognized, because Loving Yourself is a foundation stone of life supporting Your tomorrows - even if others go away YOU remain to love again content in YOU. When You love Yourself and others as You would choose to be loved in the same situation, You know You are reaching out to Your highest self.  What better life than to stay in love with mankind, confident in Your value no matter the choices of others.

I am not afraid of tomorrow, for I have seen yesterday and I love today.
