Last night my next door neighbors, Glenn and Celia, and I had our first Let’s Talk + meeting at my house on our block. The + stands for “positive.” It is something I have wanted to do for a long time and it was great. People brought desserts and I bought a few and made coffee. It was wonderful, a great way to interact with neighbors. I loved it. Glenn suggested bowling or pool one time–why not?
I encourage people to step past the computer and the TV and interact with their neighbors by inviting their neighbors to a Talk+ meeting. The invite was simple:
Let’s Talk+

Why: Because it sounds like a good idea

That sounds like a great idea! Too bad all of my neighbours hate me or I might try this
What a beautiful idea! Thanks so much for sharing it. I don’t have a problem with my neighbors – know them all, and make an effort to talk to them in person frequently. But I do need to do this with my co-workers who never have anything good to say about anyone or anything, including their own families. It’s been a real challenge for me to work with them.
That sounds freakin’ awesome!
great work Mara…
